David: The Life of a Complicated King

Ever wondered how a shepherd boy slayed a giant, became King, and then faced betrayal, heartbreak, and profound moral failures, yet still be called a man after God’s own heart? Join us for “David: A Life of a Complicated King,” a new summer sermon series exploring the extraordinary highs and devastating lows of one of the Bible’s most complex figures. 

We’ll delve into the messy, often contradictory, yet ultimately redemptive journey of King David and learn how God remains faithful, even when we come to the limits of our human talent and capacity.

In-Person Small Group

Connect with others on Wednesdays, from 7:00-8:30 pm at Highrock Arlington, in the Kidsrock wing. We’ll spend time discussing the sermons and praying for one another. This small group will be led by Pastor Kim Roberts.

Sunday Sermon Discussion

Every Sunday an open small group gathers via Zoom at 11am ET to discuss that week’s sermon. This group will gather in lieu of an Online small group for this sermon series.
