If you are a mom of a teen, toddler, newborn, young adult, special needs child, a child of color, working in the home or out in your field, or parenting on your own, we have a group of moms who would love to hang out with you!
We have a fabulously, diverse group of moms in our church community and it is our hope that this ministry will provide supportive and encouraging spaces that are rooted in our shared faith and fierce love for our kids. We acknowledge the many needs and interests represented in our community and hope to create a place where you can be seen, heard, and challenged as a mom, woman, and follower of Christ. We hope that Momsrock will be a place where you find connection and encouragement.
Hoping to get encouragement, teaching, and support in parenting or in marriage, or ready to just jump into scripture with other moms? We have a group just for you!
Whether you are available only on weekends, mornings during preschool, afternoons during naps, or evenings after work when kids are in bed or teens have hit the books, we have a small group for you! Need childcare while you join a group? Wednesday morning in-person groups have just what you need.
This year we have added podcasts to our discussions, shortened teaching, eliminated workbooks, and increased time between topics to remember, reflect, and apply.
Fall session for small groups run from the week of September 14 until the week of December 14.
During the first half of fall, our small groups and teaching time will join the larger church in studying Practicing the Way (by John Mark Comer) along with its study guide. We’ll watch teaching videos together and then break into small groups to discuss the content and how we can apply it to our lives.
In the second half of fall, groups will begin Ruth Chou Simons’ Now and Not Yet (by Ruth Chou Simmons), exploring six ways we can be encouraged by God’s faithfulness as we parent and live out our many roles and responsibilities.
During the winter – spring, groups will dive into Praying like Monk, Living Like Fools (by Tyler Stanton) using its video teachinsg and study guide. Together, we’ll discuss practical ways to strengthen our discipleship and deepen our prayer lives as moms.
