Milestones Seminar: The Church

Middle school is one of the biggest turning points in a child’s spiritual journey. As kids begin asking deeper questions, seeking independence, and forming their own identity, parents have a unique opportunity to help them develop a faith that becomes truly their own.

This Milestone is designed for middle school students and their parents or guardians. Students will participate in a three-week experience exploring what it means to follow Jesus as part of the Church through three foundational themes:

1. Our Commandments (Love God, Love Others)
2. Our Communion (The Lord’s Supper)
3. Our Commission (Go Make Disciples).

Parents will watch a companion video seminar that explores the developmental changes of adolescence and offers practical encouragement for nurturing faith during these formative years. Together, you’ll be equipped to embrace the middle school years as a season of tremendous spiritual opportunity.
