Maundy Thursday Community Dinners

On the night before his crucifixion, Jesus gathered with his friends for a final meal, where he shared bread and wine and gave them a simple command: “love one another as I have loved you.” Maundy Thursday remembers this moment and invites us to experience it together through food, community, and reflection.

This year, we encourage everyone to host a simple dinner gathering in your home with your Highrock friends or small groups and even new acquaintances from different backgrounds and life stages. We’ll provide an easy-to-follow guide to help shape your evening with a shared meal, Scripture, prayer, and reflection. An optional craft is included as part of the home liturgy; if you plan to use it, you’ll want to gather the materials ahead of time (details will be included in the guide, coming soon).

If hosting or joining a home gathering isn’t possible, Highrock Arlington will host a congregational dinner that evening. Registration is requested.
