- Psychology Today‘s international database of therapists, support groups, treatment centers, etc. is extensive and user-friendly. Search by specialty, location, insurance coverage and more.
- If applicable, research your employer’s EAP (Employee Assistance Program) for free short-term counseling referral services. Some EAP programs include a few free counseling sessions per referral.

- Residents of participating Massachusetts communities can access the free referral service INTERFACE to get connected with a mental health provider.
- Therapy Matcher is a free referral service for all Massachusetts residents looking for a clincal social worker who does therapy.
- This Guide for Finding Mental Health Support created by the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH) includes a wealth of tips and additional resources on finding mental health support in the state.
- Interfaith Social Services* meets many needs in their South Shore community, including providing counseling on a sliding-fee pay scale.
- For residents of Somerville, Cambridge, Medford, or Arlington, MA, Looking Glass Counseling is offering free 45-minute counseling sessions specifically for mental health issues related to COVID-19

- For people who are requesting Christian counselors, New Life has a referral service. Registration is $75, but it pays for your first counseling session.
- The MGH Center for Cross-Cultural Student Emotional Wellness (CCCSEW) COVID-19 Resources primarily addresses Asian and Asian American student and family issues, providing resources for parents and youth; multiple languages available.
- The QTPoC Mental Health Practitioner Directory has been created by the National Queer and Trans Therapists of Color Network to match QTPoC (Queer and Trans People of Color) with QTPoC mental health providers.
- The Multicultural Mental Health Resource Directory is compiled annually by the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health and Office of Race, Equity & Inclusion. Go to page 16 for Metro Boston area resources.
- Latinx Therapy provides mental health support resources and a database of Latinx therapists and speakers.
- Mustard Seed Generation is dedicated to fostering conversations about mental health in the Korean American community. They also have an extensive counseling directory.
- Princeton Theological Seminary’s Center for Asian American Christianity produced these resources specifically addressing perfectionism.
- This compendium of college student specific resources put together by the Center for Online Education has a list of excellent resources specifically addressing the stresses of online college students.
- The Children’s Room offers grief support for families and kids in eastern Massachusetts.
- For residents of Eastern Massachusetts, NuPath, Inc.* is a human services agency offering a variety of services and programs for adults living with disability, including autism.

A PCP/doctor or school counselor can be a great resource for guidance when looking to support your child or teen. Several school districts in the Boston area are also posting area-specific resources and can help students connect to mental health support.
- Needham Youth and Family Services* offers a range of resources for Needham residents, from clinical counseling to employment matters.
- Arlington Youth Counseling* exists to support the mental health and wellbeing of Arlington youth and their families.
- Bridge Over Troubled Waters* serves homeless, runaway, and other at-risk youth in Boston.
- Find free mindfulness videos geared towards kids on Mind Yeti’s YouTube channel.
- Families for Depression Awareness* has programs and resources for families affected by depression or bipolar disorder, with the goal of preventing suicides.

- Calm is a popular app for mindfulness, relaxation and sleep.
- Headspace offers guided mindfulness and relaxation techniques rooted in ancient history and modern science, aimed at helping individuals or whole workplaces.
- Find mindfulness activities geared towards reducing stress and increasing calm at Stop, Breathe and Think, with special sections for students and teachers.
