The phrase “the weight of the world” can feel like more than just a saying these days. There is so much brokenness, apathy, and suffering. We long for more, for better, yet we often feel powerless to even make a dent in the scale of all that’s wrong. The first Christians faced a similar weight, and yet, instead of paralysis or retreat, they followed the leading of the Holy Spirit and got to witness a profound, world-altering movement take off as more and more followed the way of Jesus. The Kingdom of God grew exponentially! You’re invited to join us for our summer series journeying through the Book of Acts. It’s so much more than just a history lesson; it’s a reminder that what was possible then is possible now. We, too, have the spiritual power to make a difference in our world today.
