Faith in the Face of Evil

Session Panelists: Nicholas Kristof & Russell Moore

On March 8, Theology Lab welcomes two widely respected public voices: Nicholas Kristof, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and longtime columnist for The New York Times, and Russell Moore, Editor in Chief of Christianity Today. Kristof is known for reporting from the front lines of humanitarian crisis and highlighting stories of courage in the face of suffering. Moore has called the church toward deeper moral clarity and integrity in its public witness.

Together, they’ll reflect on confronting evil in the real world – what they’ve seen, what has shaped them, and what inspires individuals and communities to pursue the good. Expect honest stories from global reporting, including encounters with leaders like Desmond Tutu and Jimmy Carter, alongside thoughtful reflections on faith, church, and public life. Our hope is that this conversation will not only inform but also strengthen our own resolve to live faithfully in a world marked by both suffering and hope.
