info@highrock.orgAsh Wednesday begins a season that invites us to slow down, tell the truth about our lives, and open ourselves more fully to God. Lent has long been practiced as a formative journey – 40 days of prayer, reflection, and realignment – helping us notice what shapes us, what distracts us, and where God longs to bring renewal. Lent offers a rhythm that many of us long for but rarely create on our own: making space for honesty, humility, and hope as we journey toward Easter.
Ash Wednesday worship is a meaningful place to begin. Through Scripture, prayer, music, and the optional receiving of ashes – a centuries-old symbol of our humanity and our dependence on God – we mark the start of this season together. Whether you’re deeply familiar with Lent or simply curious, this service offers a grounded, grace-filled way to begin a season of reflection you won’t want to miss.
An online service will premiere at 7:00am on our YouTube channel, and in-person worship services will take place at 6:30pm at both campuses:
