Holy Week & Easter Sunday

Journey with us through Holy Week, from community gatherings on Maundy Thursday, through times of prayer in the darkness of Good Friday, to our joyous Easter Sunday celebration of the Resurrection.

Maundy Thursday, March 28

The word "Maundy" comes from the Latin “maundatum,” which means mandate or command. On this night we gather in community, remembering how Jesus gathered his disciples for a meal, offered himself as the elements of communion and gave the command to love one another as he has loved us.

  • We invite you to participate in Maundy Thursday Dinners. These gatherings during Holy Week are a small expression of the beauty we experience as the church together, a group of diverse people bound by the love of Christ. At each dinner, we celebrate with fellowship and food, enjoy a time of guided reflection, and receive Holy Communion.

We have two options for participating in these dinners:

    • Open your homes to host small Maundy Thursday gatherings for your friends, small groups, or even new friends from different backgrounds and life-stages to share in food and fellowship. We are providing an easy Maundy Thursday guide to follow during your dinners at home. This guide is available below.
    • Anyone not connected to a house gathering, join Pastors Kim and Chris at Highrock’s Mill Cafe. Please register below to let us know how you would like to participate in our Maundy Thursday dinner at The Mill Cafe.

Blessings, Pastors Chris Gredenius and Kim Roberts
