Maundy Thursday, March 28
The word "Maundy" comes from the Latin “maundatum,” which means mandate or command. On this night we gather in community, remembering how Jesus gathered his disciples for a meal, offered himself as the elements of communion and gave the command to love one another as he has loved us.
We invite you to participate in Maundy Thursday Dinners. These gatherings during Holy Week are a small expression of the beauty we experience as the church together, a group of diverse people bound by the love of Christ. At each dinner, we celebrate with fellowship and food, enjoy a time of guided reflection, and receive Holy Communion.
We have two options for participating in these dinners:
Blessings, Pastors Chris Gredenius and Kim Roberts
