In the third session of Theology Lab’s Deliver Us From Evil series, our discussions turn to topics that occupy a great deal of our newsfeeds and politics today – the ongoing reality of war and the tragedy of human trafficking.

We’ll hear from two people of faith doing courageous work, palestinian pastor Munther Isaac and activist Mary Speta, about what it means to see and experience realities like these up close and to respond in faith.

Where is God amidst war and suffering? And how do those of us who are largely insulated from such realities not become indifferent to injustice? How do we not lose heart?

This session will offer both powerful stories and tangible advice for what faithful responses to the problem of evil can look like today.
