In a time of conflict and distrust, often characterized by polarization, many of us feel like we are losing the ability to talk about the things that matter most.
Well, this year the Theology Lab at Highrock is addressing this topic in a new series called CriticalConversations, dealing with conflict in Christ-centered community.
What would it look like to become better at . . . learning to listen . . . to be listened to . . . and grow in relationship with others?
We will be joined by guests like Shane Claiborne, Kellie Carter Jackson, Stanley Hauerwas and others. We’ll interview people who navigate high-conflict contexts, and have four sessions where a pair of guests, coming from different perspectives, model a constructive conversation on topics like abortion, family dynamics, sexuality, and politics. Come and join us as we learn – together – what it might look like to have deeper and more genuine, Christ-centered relationships.
