Mini-Retreat with Barry Rowan

We are pleased to announce that business leader, Harvard Business School lecturer, and author, Barry Rowan, will lead an event for Highrock on Saturday, February 8. The event will go from 9 am to 1 pm and will be held at the Wellesley Library, 530 Washington St., Wellesley, MA. Coffee and light foods will be available during the gathering at 9 am.

While Barry has a strong business background, this event’s orientation is toward applying your faith to your vocation: business, medicine, education, homemakers, trades, etc. How does our Sunday faith apply to the rest of the week? This is an event for everyone and includes lots of interaction and group engagement—and fellowship, too! It’s a “mini-retreat”!

REGISTER HERE FOR THE EVENT. The cost is $20/person or $30/couple. However, Guests (those who don’t attend Highrock) and Students are free but must register. 

More about Barry: he is the author of The Spiritual Art of Business: Connecting the Daily with the Divine. He brings a unique blend of spiritual insight and leadership, having held numerous C-suite roles in major corporations (e.g. Fluke Corporation, Nextel Partners, Vonage, and Gogo Inflight) and guiding his career with a character-based, Christ-centered approach to work. His personal journey of faith, sparked by a crisis of meaning, led him to a new perspective on integrating spirituality with professional life — a theme that fuels his book and his approach to mentoring emerging leaders.

Barry lives in Colorado with his wife Linda, and they enjoy spending time with their two married sons and three young grandchildren. We look forward to welcoming him to MetroWest for an inspiring and insightful event!
