MomsRock is a place for moms of all ages to connect, grow in their faith, and pursue marriage and parenting with God's purposes in mind.  Three new curricula will have us dispelling the common myths we believe about motherhood, diving into scripture to learn from some great women before us, and embracing the realities of intentional parenting.  We will also have speakers join us throughout the year to address topics related to our faith, parenting and marriage.  Each week is full of teaching, small group time, refreshments, and nurturing child-care for those who need it.  Our small group experiences also offer Japanese and Chinese speaking groups, a group focused on the needs of moms of older children, and a book group looking for further scripture study.  Additional questions?

Friday, March 3rd for 8 weeks

Everyone in America talks about what the Bible says, but few people have actually read it.  Even if you wanted to, where would you start, and if you had questions, whom could you ask?  It feels daunting to do it by yourself. But now you don’t have to!  During Lent, our entire congregation, along with our family, friends and neighbors, are invited to read the New Testament together, which includes the whole story of Jesus and some of the most transformational parts of the Bible.  The readings are organized into daily chunks, with brief video introductions to help us understand what we’re reading.

We’re also encouraging people to form “book clubs” to meet each of the 8 weeks to discuss what we’re learning, what we’re liking, and what we’re wondering about.  Invite other Highrockers, or anyone you know who would like to get to know the Bible a little better.

CONTACT: Abby ( ) if you are interested in forming a book club or joining one.
